Turbo the Turtle is all about speed—he eats fast, talks fast, plays video games fast, and LOVES race cars! But some things aren’t so easy to do fast, like reading books, jumping rope, or eating ice cream. Frustrated, Turbo avoids anything that slows him down—until one day, he sees a book called How to Build a Mini Race Car in a shop window.
Turbo wants nothing more than to read and understand that book, so he turns to his uncle, a wise and patient mechanic. With his uncle’s help, Turbo learns that just like a race car, sometimes you need to hit the brakes and slow down to get where you want to go!
